While Boondocking we’ve met some of
the nicest people. Our hosts were more
than gracious and we very much enjoyed our stay. We originally thought that we would take a
day trip to the twin cities but was informed that it was a lot further then we
thought and that there was a lot of road construction. Instead we spent the time with our hosts
taking out the ATV (we remained passengers) and riding around checking out the
corn harvest. For dinner we picked up
some sweet corn from an interesting fellow on the side of the road. The corn was the first of the season and was
delicious.
For those of you who don’t know it, Blue
Earth is the home of the Jolly Green Giant and
no visit is complete without having your picture taken with him.
As you can see there is nothing up the Jolly Green Giant's skirt...I can't help myself sometimes 😊
